Full Moon Lunar Eclipse at 16º of Taurus
Last Eclipse of the year arrives this Tuesday morning with the lightning energy due to its conjunction with Uranus and opposition to Mercury and Venus in Scorpio. When the tectonic plates are moving we cannot expect to preserve the way of the past, we are being moved whether we are ready or not.
This Eclipse will bring our deep inner longings, past hang ups and hurts to the front row of our psyche. It opens a doorway for us to cut energetic cords with everything that has somehow taken us away from our core values. We are invited to take divine responsibility for how we see our future, we are invited to start laying a foundation that is not informed by generational trauma, subconscious attachments, but from a place of inner authority and aligned sense of security. The quality of the foundation depends on our sense of independence, the recognition of our conditioning and ability to hold on to our core values as we prepare the soil for the grand re-imagining.
The time of this Eclipse holds tremendous power, the midpoint between Autumn Equinox and Winter Solstice is at 15º of Scorpio, actual point of power. We need to be mindful about what is truly sacred to us, and not allow ourselves to be dragged into the collective shadow by the external noise. Whatever happens during the days around The Eclipse, gather all your attention on passing through this threshold holding the highest vision for the future. It will be tempting to start leaking energy, do not take the bait. Sharpen the focus on the fixed cross vision, on the long term stability, on the values that are not built on wet sand and collective self neglect, but on the choices to clear out the gunk of past and take responsibility for the future.
The square from Saturn in Aquarius to the Eclipse axis lets us know that we cannot solve old, stale problems with the tools that created them. The answer can be found in Leo part of our chart. We have to allow ourselves to come up with new innovative and creative solutions, we have to see how our innate gifts can be of service to the new world we are hoping to build. The past doesn’t have answers right now, we need to believe, to trust, that we are capable of finding solutions that are exalted and value driven. If we do not find solutions, we are gonna be offered just another temporary pacifier.
Sun, Venus and Mercury are forming conjunctions to the South Node in Scorpio and shortly after that opposing Uranus in Taurus days leading to the Eclipse. Oh the discomfort of not being able to postpone stepping into the new value paradigm, into the vision that is innately present within us, yet buried underneath the layers of fears, control issues, power struggles that do not belong in the place we try to build. Venus is the ruler of the upcoming Lunar Eclipse in Taurus, and in the conversation with Uranus reminds us that there is a need to allow values and desires that have been neglected, denied or shamed to be recognized and integrated. That feminine principle cannot be divided and reduced to the convenience of the male principle. That there is sweetness in the revolt, that there is pleasure in being shocked into one’s power. In the discomfort we find truth and with this truth we create better comfort, one that allows freedom to receive pleasure without guilt, to prioritize the earth, to be joyful even as we find ourselves in front of the Fallen Tower.
