Pluto in Aquarius.

1st ingress - March 23rd 2023 to June 11th 2023.
2nd ingress - January 20th 2024 to September 2nd 2024.
3rd ingress - November 19th 2024 to March 8th 2043.
This less than three months first ingression of Pluto in Aquarius is a preview, the taste of what we can potentially expect from this incredibly interesting and uncertain transit. This ingression activates 0º degrees where Jupiter and Saturn met in December of 2020, so now the real transformation of the societal foundation begins.
The most important thing about this experience we are collectively entering is that none of us really know what to expect or will ever see the full extent of what is unfolding in our lifetime, even if we had two of those. So, let’s suspend the fear mongering and doom narrative, and find the best ways we can deal with this energy in the now, from day to day, and from one year to another. This is a long game, this fixed energy will be releasing its juices slowly. With the long term effects of this energy out of our scope, if we are focused on listening, observing and making necessary changes in the now, we can navigate this transit as consciously and with awareness as possible. But first we need to understand the nature of the messengers and participants of this experience we are entering.
Pluto: Pluto is a great purifier. Pluto does not create havoc from nothing, it will expose something that is already there, and that can create havoc. Pluto is both great revealer and concealer, whichever the best way to get us to go see what is dormant in the depths of our soul, what is the source of both personal and collective fear, control patterns, toxic attachments and even self or societal destruction. To be manipulated by the Universe into realizing our collective power, its importance and the ways we sabotage grassroots community building and the true spirit of individuality and acceptance might be worth the upheaval.
Pluto rules power, but it also rules manipulation that robs us of power. Pluto is about large resources, often resources that are hidden, both underground and off shores, resources that help to control the other, physically and psychologically. The mining for technological advances is going to get pretty intense. If you think about it Pluto is a very political beast, scheming and manipulating, the arena it is entering is of global, multi-national, technocratic and elitist views about the nature of our future. So the power resides in how well we know ourselves and can apply that knowing to this unfolding reality. Every human matters, and we need to remember this every step of the way. The grandiose views of what it means to be a human is not a path we want to walk on, being human should not become an elitist concept.
Aquarius: Aquarius is an energy that thrives to have the highest perspective of the social and collective processes, of the concept of equality and unique self expression, the collective is under the Aquarius, scientific and humanitarian progress is also Aquarius, electricity, all the waves ( not water related, electromagnetic related waves), internet, social media, political parties and revolution, anarchy and elitist mindset somehow also reside in Aquarius. Long term future and technology is here, and most importantly ( for me) Astrology is under the influence of this archetype. The amount of contradictions the Aquarian archetype holds is bound to produce a scope of influence that is incredibly hard to grasp, so for as long we try to attach ourselves to one truth or ideology, we shall inevitably miss the purpose of making space for multitude of truths that are orbiting us. My sense is that large entities, as in political parties, organizations and even counties are on the way to re-organize to create space for the multitude of opinions and truths.
Pluto in Aquarius is going to slowly move the tectonic plates of the collective understanding of what freedom and equality, progress and individuality, community and community care actually mean to us. This is the conversation about the future that is very, very long term. Keep in mind this is the last fixed sign so do not expect rapid changes, the collective will hold on to the mental attitudes for as long as it is possible. Those ideologies and concepts of the way life ought to be lived will be transformed, but not without some gripping on the behalf of those who deem themselves more special than the others. The hope is that we can give up the idea of one common reality, one truth, one ideology, because the interesting thing about the Aquarius energy, is that the need to bring all people together very often ends in dogma, totalitarianism and elitist agenda. If there is one thing I strongly believe is essential for the upcoming 20 years, is that if we do not learn to resist the one truth, that truth will take everyone down. So cultivate discernment, do not fear to stand alone for a moment, but aim to relate to the ones who share your vision and do not try to convince those who do not.
Power that is hierarchical is going to be replaced with the decentralized networks. From vertical we are moving towards horizontal exchange, like a web. Aquarius is ruled by Saturn, so we are building, but boy we are building differently, not up, but to the fringes, far and wide. Aquarius is the best pattern reader and data organizer, Mercury is exalted here after all, so details, bits of information can be put together in a big picture view. We are going to organize in small groups, connected by common ideas, but the biggest danger is the lack of flexibility. We cannot slide into the self righteousness or morality that is forgiving of selective cruelty.
Aquarius rules the internet and is connected to how we perceive freedom, Pluto might bring restrictions to the way we utilize the online landscape. So what will be the price we are willing to pay to have access to the perceived freedoms of the online era? My hope is that we won’t delegate so much of our power to data that it will allow the data to become an unspoken king. Because Pluto can take it really far in how much we are going to tolerate. Let’s observe and do not rush to any conclusions, the ruler of this fixed sign transit is in the mutable water sign, so many changes in perspective are abound. With Love, Mariana.
