Full Moon in Libra. 04/06/2023

Late on Wednesday or early on Thursday, depending on where you are, we are met by the Full Moon at 16 degrees of Libra. This lunation arrives right before we are officially in the throes of an Eclipse Season, and it has a very pronounced tone of healing our relationship with the other, with what we consider external to us, with all that we seek in another as we feel like that is something we lack. The fragmented view of oneself, that is highlighted with Sun/Chiron in opposition to the Moon, is something we have an opportunity to mend, we can reclaim all the parts of ourselves we left in various places and relationships, and we can start putting them back where they belong. So real harmony and balance that springs from the choice to not self abandon can flourish.

The two weeks after the lunation will be full of realizations about what we finally need to separate from, on many levels the separation is going to be on the internal level, the separation from the energetic vacuums that have been draining our energy and obstructing out ability to create new value narratives ( the ruler of the lunation Venus is in Taurus). So much of this lunation is about consciously disrupting the patterns of imbalance, unfair give and take dynamics and clearing out space for the new stories of love and harmony and unity to emerge.

With Mercury in conjunction with North Node during the Full Moon, contracts and agreements that do not serve both parties, are not aligned with our values or are not doing us justice need to be brought to diplomatic closure. Jupiter approaching the Sun in opposition to this lunation is about hope and faith, that we as we are, with all that we lost, and all that we gained, have it in us to enter new relationships more as ourselves, not less.

Full Moon in the sign of scales offers us an opportunity to find closure within the endings that might have happened a while ago, endings that had to take place so we could reclaim the parts of ourselves that have been neglected within the time and space of holding on to people, ideas, places that required that sacrifice. The opposition to Chiron with Sun and Jupiter acts as a magnifier for all that has been imbalanced to start coming into greater alignment, internal alignment primarily. The ability to see both sides of an equation, really understand the opposite perspective, but not let this understanding to compromise the values and needs we hold close to our heart is how closure happens. Understanding the needs of the other is not a prerequisite for self abandonment, and parting with that wiring is incredibly healing. Balance is a constant dance, we never arrive there, we just thrive towards harmony through knowing when to choose oneself and when to compromise. And no one but knows where this delicate line lies.
