Mars/Uranus/North Node conjunction at 18º of Taurus. 07/31/2022
The most important transit of this year, the conjunction between Mars, Uranus and North Node, is happening from Sunday into Tuesday, and setting a stage for some major changes within our financial institutions, land rights, farming world, energy resources and technological innovations. Uranus and North Node meet approximately every 15-16 years, last time they met was in the sign of Pisces in 2007 ( introduction of the iphone, pre financial crisis of 2008 schemes, Tesla’s first car going on the market). Look around and think about the technological innovations (Uranus) that have completely changed the reality of our existence ( North Node) in the past 15 years. One thing to remember is that with transits of such magnitude, we can expect the slow, yet very impactful changes rolling through our lives in the next couple of years.
With the fixed cross being activated by this very disruptive energy, we ought to embrace the notion of radical changes being the result of a strategic, slowly weaved and deliberately measured decision making process. In the home of Taurus, the quality of change matters greatly, every step has to be weighed and the price we have to pay to get back into the alignment cannot be taken lightly. Ask yourself what is the price you are willing to pay to discover your true worth and prepare for the ground to shake underneath your feet. The reward is not going to be in the form of instant gratification, the reward is in the unraveling and merging of the parts within ourselves that crave comfort and stability that cannot be pulled from under our feet at someone else's whim.
Cultivating patience and the ability to maintain focus, as the very fabric of our society is being unearthed and shaken, will in time bring us the sense of personal agency and authority over the value we are bringing into the fold of life. The dispositor of this triple conjunction is Venus, which is currently in Cancer. The need for safety and nourishment, becomes a driving force for innovation and is activating the collective courage to claim independence. Resources like food, water, land, money, housing are all gonna be taking the center stage in this revolution of the concept of abundance. The question is, where do you invest the resource that is always available to you, that is your energy, and what do you receive in return?
Uranus is about breaking beyond what we thought is possible, it is about freedom to leave what doesn’t work and doesn’t serve the collective, and create something outside of convention, to challenge the status quo. North Node is the circumstances created by the Universe to help us unravel our full potential and Mars is a sharp knife that can cut off anything that doesn’t serve us any longer. All of these energies require tremendous care and self awareness, the potential is liberation, but recklessness can create unnecessary havoc. Freedom has a price, and we need to be crystal clear on what we are willing to pay to be autonomous.
Uranus is going to spend quite a long time at the 18º of Taurus, due to its retrograde motion that starts on August 24th. So it is going to be within the close orb of this conjunction all the way through May of 2023. Slow down and aim for the mark really carefully. This is not a race, but a marathon of radical change. The most important test arrives through the almost exact square between Saturn in Aquarius and Uranus in Taurus, at the end of September into the beginning of October of 2022. The true measure of commitment to your sense of value and purpose is clear when you find yourself under a lot of pressure, but that is exactly the time to hold on to your convictions and goals even more. With patience this mountain shall be crossed. The stakes are too high not to recognize your innate worth and value.
