Full Moon in Capricorn. 07/03/2023

Full Moon in Capricorn arrives early on Monday morning and brings us face to face with a different set of Saturnian lessons, as this is a first Saturn ruled Full Moon with Saturn being out of its home signs (Capricorn and Aquarius). Saturn in Pisces has shown us so far that the end of the Saturnian cycle in the mutable water sign is not playing any games, the endings and karmic lessons are going to raise all sorts of stuff from the deepest places within ourselves and our collective unconscious, as we have seen in the past few months the Water has spoken. With the ruler of this lunation, Saturn, in Pisces we are asked to look at what is ultimately boundless and take responsibility for our relationship with the unseen and the collective vortex that we all are contributors to, and start contributing from the place of love and compassion, not fear and shame. This cannot be a path of least resistance, this should be a path of mutative and mature choices, possibly difficult ones.

This Capricorn Full Moon is about being honest with ourselves about how we can get to the next level of evolution and development without sacrificing ourselves, our collective home and our values. This lunation sheds light on where and how we need to take responsibility for being conscious co-creators of this reality. With the opposition to the Mercury in Cancer we are asked to remember that most of the knowledge and information we need, we brought into this plane within our bodies, that the memory is in our bones, that ancestral knowledge is essential to who we are. Capricorn/Cancer axis are about the emotional attunement and responsibility for our role within the ancestral pattern we are part of, the more we collectively sink into the illusion of separation from our roots the less we can give going forward. This illusion has consequences.

Capricorn lessons aren't really about ambition or career or status, it is about knowing deeply what requires our effort, maturity and consistency to fulfill our unique destiny. The fulfillment lies on the other side of fear, avoidance and self abandonment. Saturn tells us that dreams come true if the dreams are stronger than the dreamer, the societal expectation and the conditioning. For that we need to have firm boundaries with the parts of this reality that are draining our energy, infusing us with fear and sense of isolation, but the key here is that it is our responsibility to set the terms of engagement.

Under the beams of this lunation we are called to synchronize to the ongoing process of change through the inner effort and through releasing the limiting expectations of our wounded ego. Ask yourself what is the illusion of powerlessness that causes your life to continually meet chaos, recognizing the pattern is necessary right now, being honest with ourselves is the highest form of compassion, discipline is the love language of this lunation.  With Love, Mariana.
